Hello to you all,
To make sure that we are all on the same page, I have listed my terms and conditions below. Please have a read through and do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
Shoot fee
Your photoshoot experience fee covers my time spent with you on location, my talent, knowledge and experience. The fee must be paid at the time of booking and your photoshoot experience will be valid for 12 months from the date payment is received. Your deposit fee is fully refundable for up to 14 days or until the date of your photoshoot, if the date falls within the 14 days. Once the photoshoot has taken place, your photoshoot fee is non refundable. The same applies to the ‘all inclusive’ or ‘bespoke packages’ whereby upfront full payment is made at booking stage. Once the photoshoot has taken place, the full payment photoshoot fee is non refundable. Due to restrictions posed by our changeable weather conditions, any photoshoot session may be rescheduled for an unlimited number of times within the twelve-month period. A mutual decision is made between us on the evening before the scheduled date of your photoshoot.
Travel
Travel time included in any photoshoot experience is 20 miles on a round trip from my home address in Banstead Surrey. Any additional miles traveled to your desired location will be charged at a cost of 42 pence per mile.
Image Gallery
Once your photoshoot experience has taken place, within 3-5 days, you will have the opportunity to view your gallery of images from the comfort of your own home, via a private link from my website, jothorpe.com. Your gallery will remain on my website for 7 working days ONLY. Once your image gallery has been removed from my website, there will be an additional admin fee of £25 for a second image gallery upload.
Ordering
You will have the opportunity to place an order once you have viewed your image gallery. You may wish to purchase an album, a bespoke wall portrait (frames, aluminium or acrylic) or/and a digital file package. There are various packages available and tailored to suit your needs and your budget.Delivery times for prints, albums and frames may vary from one another and will be discussed at the time of ordering.
Minimum order: You are not obliged to purchase additional images from your gallery and there is no minimum spend amount. However, please consider that much time will be dedicated to producing a gorgeous gallery of images that you will undoubtedly fall in love with. I would advise that you consider your spending budget before committing your time to a photoshoot experience.
High Resolution Digital files
You may purchase high-resolution digital files and these are available in several different package sizes. High-resolution digital jpeg files can be easily shared amongst your family and friends and printed from as many times as you choose. All high-resolution images will be delivered via a downloadable link, within 1-3 days after final payment has been received.
Postproduction
Once you have chosen your absolute favourite images from your gallery, those images will receive a final edit. You will have the opportunity to ask for up to x3 photo edits on your images. There may be an imperfection that you would like me to remove or correct. There could be unwanted subjects in the background of your images or you may like me to look at performing head swaps, where perhaps one person out of many has their eyes closed and yet in another image they are open. Any extra editing requested is charged at £20 per edit.
Image storage/ Image delete
After 7 workings days your image gallery will be automatically removed from jothorpe.com and your complete gallery, including your non-purchased imagesand will be archived and stored for a maximum of 6 months. Within the 6-month period you may wish to retrieve your image gallery for additional viewing. For this there is a small admin fee of £25. One month before your image gallery is deleted, you will be notified by email and by text message. You will have the opportunity to ask for your images to be stored for longer.
Image ownership
Jo Thorpe Photography owns the copyright to ALL photographs taken. No photographs, (prints, wall portraits or high resolution digital files) may be retouched or manipulated in any way once final edits have been completed in house.
Image usage
The part of the postproduction process that excites me most is when I view your gallery closely and carefully select the images that I know you are going to LOVE. Sharing these results with my wider audience is so very important to me too. Some of your images can and may be used for the purpose of display, advertising, portfolio, publication or promotion. Your images can and may also be shared with potential new clients for demonstration purposes. Any images selected for sharing may be modified, changed, or alter without restriction. You can request to stipulate which images you’d be happy to see shared. Any concerns over image usage can be discussed. Compensation is not offered at any time, for any use of images taken by Jo Thorpe Photography
Image usage for competitions and notoriety
